About Amy

Amy has worked with children for over ten years. After obtaining her masters degree in speech-language pathology, Amy opened her private practice in Evanston, Illinois. In addition, Amy worked part-time at The Cove School in Northbrook, Illinois, a school for children with learning disabilities. In that capacity, she provided speech and language treatment for students. Amy’s school-based experience helps her prepare children for academic success and provide meaningful input when consulting with teachers.

Today, Amy's private practice focuses on children, preschool through high school, and their families. When working with children, she uses play-based therapeutic activities to address a variety of speech and language needs.

Amy lives with her husband and their young son in Kirkwood in suburban Saint Louis. An enthusiastic athlete, she has run three Chicago Marathons and the New York Marathon. An expert beyond her professional realm, Amy enjoys reading historical fiction and discovering new restaurants.
